Türkiye University Sports Federation organized the Turkish University Snowboard Championship, where Erzurum Technical University (ETU) achieved a significant success. The event was held on February 14–15, 2026, at Palandöken Kayak Merkezi. Competing in both individual and team categories, ETU won first place in the men’s team category, becoming the Turkish University Champion in snowboarding.

During the championship, ETU athletes won a total of 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medal, finishing the competition at the top with the team championship title. In the individual events, Uğur Koçak won the gold medal in the slalom category. In the giant slalom event, Ömer Faruk Keleşoğlu secured first place, while Uğur Koçak also contributed significantly to the team by winning a bronze medal in the same category. In the overall team standings, ETU was followed by Erciyes University and Atatürk University.

Following the competitions, Buket Aktaş stated that the athletes represented ETU in the best possible way and emphasized that they will continue to compete with the same determination in future events.
