Erzurum Technical University (ETU) has opened a "Student Selection Days" stand in Yakutiye City Square to guide prospective students during the university selection process. Academics and expert staff are providing prospective students and their parents with comprehensive information about the university's academic programs, educational opportunities, and student life at the stand.
Aiming to contribute to prospective students making informed and conscious choices during the university selection period, ETU is welcoming visitors at its stand in Yakutiye City Square. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM between July 31st and August 9th, the stand brings together the university's academic units and application centers with prospective students.
Academics from all departments of the Faculties of Literature, Science, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Health Sciences, and Sports Sciences are present at the stand. In addition, experts from the Crystal Entrepreneurship Center, the Technology Teams Coordination Office, and the Career Planning Application and Research Center (KARPAM) provide prospective students and their parents with information on educational opportunities, career planning, entrepreneurial activities, technology studies, and university life.
ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, who visited the stand set up as part of the Preference Days, also met and chatted with prospective students and their parents. Listening to the students' questions about the selection process, Cakmak shared his assessments of ETU's educational philosophy, research infrastructure, social facilities, and student-centered approach.
In his statements regarding the Preference Days event, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak stated that choosing a university is one of the most important decisions shaping young people's futures, and that it is crucial for prospective students to have direct access to accurate information during this process.
Stating that ETU offers young people a high-quality university experience with its strong academic staff, research infrastructure, applied education approach, and student-centered approach, Cakmak said, "We are waiting for all prospective students and their families at our stand in Yakutiye City Square during the university selection process. Our academics and expert teams are here to answer all questions about our university and to guide our candidates during the selection process.
