Erzurum Technical University (ETU) has passed another significant milestone in its accreditation efforts, carried out in line with its goal of strengthening quality assurance in education and training activities.
Field visits conducted as part of the accreditation process by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Faculties of Science, Letters, Science-Letters, Languages, and History-Geography (FEDEK) have been completed at ETU. The FEDEK evaluation team conducted on-site inspections for the Turkish Language and Literature, History, and Philosophy departments within the Faculty of Letters, as well as the Mathematics department within the Faculty of Science.
During the three-day evaluation, the committee performed a detailed review of the departments' educational programs, academic staff structure, physical infrastructure facilities, assessment and evaluation systems, and student-oriented practices. Additionally, quality assurance mechanisms and cooperation processes with internal and external stakeholders were evaluated on-site.
Following the field visits, the final accreditation decision is expected to be announced in the coming months after the evaluation by the FEDEK Board of Directors.
