The "Small Steps, Big Futures: Early Intervention in Pediatric Rehabilitation and Sensory Integration Summit" was held at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) to raise awareness in the field of child health and contribute to the professional development of health sciences students.

The event, organized by the ETU Children's Club as part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES), took place at the Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall.

In the program, which was attended by a large number of students studying in the field of health, critical topics were addressed, such as the importance of early intervention in pediatric rehabilitation, assessment and treatment processes for infants at risk, and current approaches to sensory integration problems in children.

Featured speakers Bülent Elbasan and Ayça Elbasan provided comprehensive information to the participants regarding the impact of accurate early assessments on the treatment process for infants at risk, rehabilitation management for children with cerebral palsy, and the role of sensory integration practices in child development.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the sharing of examples from clinical applications enhanced the students' knowledge in the field, while the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in pediatric rehabilitation was also emphasized.

The event, aimed at supporting the professional development of students, continued with a question-and-answer session where participants had the opportunity to communicate directly with the experts.
