Associate Professor Emre Kuşkapan, a faculty member of the Department of Civil Engineering at
Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, has been admitted as a
Full Member of Sigma Xi, one of the world's most deeply rooted international scientific organizations.
Accepted into the Full Membership status in recognition of his scientific productivity, research activities,
and academic contributions to his field, Assoc. Prof. Kuşkapan has joined the scientific network of Sigma
Xi, which brings together scientists and researchers on an international scale.
Founded in the United States in 1886, Sigma Xi operates as an international honor society that encourages
scientific research, supports interdisciplinary collaborations, and unites researchers from different
countries around the world on the same platform. In addition to recognizing scientific achievements, the
organization stands out for its efforts to develop research culture, strengthen academic collaborations, and
increase scientific interaction.
